As you may have noticed in the picture of Caeli and me, I have curly hair now.
I'm looking forward to the ease this will bring to getting myself ready.Tuesday, October 23, 2007
I have another neice!
Caeli Marie was born on Monday, 9lb 4 oz... Suzanne is doing great and it is so fun seeing Bobby as a dad. They are such a cute family. Bobby and Suzanne are such natural parents. I'll have to borrow some more pictures of them from my mom, but here is what I have now. I was surprised they let Joey and MJ into the hospital. But it was nice to not have to take turns with them outside of the room.
And here is a tired yet cute Joey with his Aunt Kathy.
Our ND trip
The first part of our ND trip started off great. Mario and I managed to rendezvous in Cleveland Friday night. I drove with the boys from VA and Mario flew from Connecticut where he was working. We got him about 8:30 and then finished the 4 hour drive to South Bend.
We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ND fall day. It was supposed to be rainy (I packed an entire bag of coats, panchos and other rain gear that we never used). I wish we had taken more pictures, but here is a start.
First, Mario, MJ, and I went to see the band warm up b/c we can hear them from where we tailgate and are close (Joey was taking his first nap in the car).
We got some good use out of the pack n play. I originally brought it to use in St. Louis, but it came in handy to keep crawling Joey out of trouble.

Staron's visit
I meant to post this before we left for our trip, but it didn't happen. So I'll just do this quickly now...
I just wanted to throw this cute picture out there. Andrea and Andy visited Saturday night for the second half of the ND game :-( and for dinner. We had a fun time and even managed to get a few pictures before the boys went to bed and the adults started to party.
(I'm not sure why the picture isn't working...but I'm away from my home computer and cannot fix it)

pumpkin patch part 2
Just a few more pictures from the day.
The hay was fun... and he sure had it all over him afterwards.
They were totally exhausted at this point, but we managed a cute picture.

4 pictures
I can't figure out why I can only upload 4 pictures at a time. Anyway, on Saturday, we went to the pumpkin patch. It was a gorgeous fall day and we all had a fun time... which was good because it was $13/person. But there were some farm animals, a live band, tons of slides... well, a lot of stuff, I don't need to be an ad for them.
Well, this first picture is just Joey eating a graham cracker. I tried the biter biscuits earlier...he likes those a lot. The kid still doesn't have teeth but he seems so ready to eat finger foods.
And here are a few pictures from the pumpkin patch... more to come in the next post...
Joey's outfit made him kind of camoflauged against the stroller.
This would have been much better if Mario had been in it too.

Halloween is in the air...
as is fall... it was nice having a cool day today. I'm still sick, which is not fun. But we went to a Halloween craft party this morning, which was fun. My boys tried out their costumes for the year (we are going as Super Mario bros). I will show my princess costume at a more appropriate time. Meanwhile, I thought they were cute. I even found these gloves that fit 0-3 year olds. They are a little big on Joey, but MJ loves them. He also likes wearing the red had. Actually, both of the hats are a little big on them, but it was the best I could do.
This was a super fun Halloween craft party...thanks Michaela and Mindy!
